Jaguar E Type Shelley Lifting Jack (LJ) 225 for sale

Here you see an original Jaguar E Type Jack Shelley LJ 225 genuine but with a fresh paint to match a concourse restored car. This particular Shelley jack is dated 61 and has a flat nose which indicates a production until end November 61.

This jack has hardly been used as you can see from the lever hole. Many others have been widened and some do even have a cracked or broken nose, that is why the later jacks gave been reinforced which was only on later model about late 61 until end of delivery June 62

Jaguar E Type XKE Shelley Jack 225 original condition for sale

Here is another original but unrestored Shelley LJ 225 for sale. This on is undated so in the 3 different body versions 59, undated and 61 this is the second production lot made for jaguar. Considering that Jaguar had planned only 500 cars, we could agree that the first 500 cars should have the 59 dated, then an undated version and later the 61 version.

However, here you see what it is like being a jack. This one is a true survivor and there is no doubt about originality.
