How to identify an original Shelley LJ 225

As often when some rare items getting more and more expensive the copies come by easy. Here are some identification points which should help you to distinguish the copy from the original.

Both are original, left is early 61 and right is the later model which continued until July

Casting numbers …. most often not matching.
Three points, often missing on repro.
The repros do have the casting line further up ending up about middle of the hole.
