As requested, original Metallifacture jack with my S1 FHC 886918, date of manufacture 17 Sept /62 , is stamped “Patent Applied For”.
I love your website. Very unique collection. I am looking for several items for my ’61 E-type flat-floor roadster, 876024:
original owner ‘s manual
Periodic Maintenance Vouchers
Jaguar plastic pouch
Shelley LJ225 jack and handle.
I would be grateful for any help you might offer.
Dave
Interesting site… have you completed the restoration? After 2 1/2 years I have just finished a 2+2 (1E75070BW): http://www.xkedata.com/cars/detail/?car=1E75070

Wow, nice car, it it very similar to my only that my was the very first with open headlights. Do not now why they did only that. All the rest ist pure S1. Your is an interesting color. I like that.
The insulation, is it worth it? I have seen something like that before.
I started my restoration in March 2014 and I just came back from the garage. Have replaced dirvers floor and doing nor passangers side. Discovered that someone had done the inner sills before and left the old ones underneath. Now I have just taken everthing out.
Have to do part of the trunk floor or maybe all.
How is yours driving? Have my engine in the ouverhaul. Diff and automatic gear as well.
I am driving the FHC but have never driven the automatic, so I am curious.
